Conservative Party Conference – Retirement
Shadow Chancellor George Osborne revealed yesterday that the Conservatives would raise the default retirement age or scrap, meaning employers would need to review their retirement policies. The plans are that the pension age would be increased to 66 from 2016, which he hopes would have £.13bn a year.
