Gary has accumulated a wealth of experience that spans all aspects of business and brings with him a rare combination of employment law knowledge and practical 'hands-on' operational management experience. This rare combination gives Gary a unique ability to deliver business critical employment law advice and HR management services to business owners, directors, and senior managers, helping them ensure they prevent problems and protect their businesses from time consuming personnel problems and/or costly employment tribunal claims.
A Fellow of the Institute of Paralegals (IoP), member of the Scottish Paralegal Association (Grade 1), Fellow of the Institute of Leadership & Management (ILM), and member of the Professional Paralegal Register (PPR), Gary is recognised as a highly experienced employment law specialist, manager and leader, committed to delivering practical employment law advice and professional HR services of the highest standards and to meeting continuous professional development requirements, ensuring he remains completely up to date with the latest employment law legislation and best practices in leadership.
Gary also volunteers as a Trustee Board member with Cancer Support Scotland and Stirling Citizens Advice Bureau where he has responsibility for contributing to the discharging of the Boards' duties in the areas of service delivery, finance, staffing, funding, governance, and setting policies and procedures.
An LLB graduate of the Law School at Strathclyde University, former member of the Strathclyde University Law Clinic, certified specialist civil court paralegal, and Fellow of the Institute of Paralegals (IoP), Morag has extensive legal knowledge and several years of operational management experience, the combination of which give her the unique ability to be able to deliver business critical employment law and HR advice ensuring Clients are able to strike the right balance between compliance and operational delivery.
Morag has commercially focused outlook and extensive experience providing employment law advice and HR support on a wide range of issues, including disciplinary and grievance matters, unfair dismissal, discrimination issues, the Working Time Regulations, TUPE, family friendly rights and contractual matters, managing risk as appropriate. She takes a hands-on approach, tailoring the support she delivers to the requirements of each Client.
Vajiha graduated in law from Caledonian University in 2010 before studying for her postgraduate diploma in legal practice at Strathclyde University. Vajiha completed her legal training at a firm of solicitors in Glasgow where she specialised predominantly in employment law, but undertook legal work in other areas including criminal law, residential conveyancing and family law, and qualified as a solicitor in 2014.
Throughout her legal career, Vajiha has provided employment law advice and HR support to employers ranging from SMEs to multi-national corporates on a wide range of employment law and HR issues, including disciplinary and grievance matters, unfair dismissal, discrimination issues, the Working Time Regulations, TUPE, family friendly rights and contractual matters across diverse industries.
Ashley has a Certificate in HR Management, a BTEC qualification in Employment Law Practice and Procedure at QCF Level 3, is an Associate of the Institute of Paralegals (IoP) and she is currently working towards a Certified Employment Law Paralegal qualification. Ashely is a key member of the team and helps looks after the day to day needs of our Clients, providing essential support as required.
Highly experienced in recognising Client needs quickly, Ashley ensures the consistent delivery of customer service excellence in an efficient, effective and pleasant manner. Ashley's positive and efficient approach ensures Client's consistently receive excellent support and that complex tasks and projects are delivered effectively within set time scales.
An honours graduate of the University of West of Scotland with a degree in Law and Business, Emma is an outstanding problem solver who can apply her broader knowledge of the law and business to assist prospective Clients to identify risks and mitigate against them through the implementation of a sustainable employment law and HR risk management strategy. Emma thrives under pressure, possesses excellent multitasking, time management and organisational skills, and an optimistic and encouraging "can do" attitude.
A key member of the team, Emma leads delivery of the firm’s digital marketing and business development strategy to help ensure the needs and expectations of existing clients are consistently exceeded, and the employment law and HR services of the business are effectively communicated to potential clients.
